  9.     Since I haven't gotten any reply to my question about how to
  10.     program sockets in Icon, I started to wonder whether my
  11.     question was a "dumb question". Is that so? I did not find
  12.     it in the FAQ or in the documentation, anyhow. Could someone 
  13.     please help me out?

  15. Doesn't seem like a dumb question to me, but the answer is, I suspect,
  16. "program access routines in C and build them into Icon".
